Workhorse Group WKHS shares are trending on Monday. The company announced that its 750 medium duty electric vehicle will be showcased at the 14th Annual Clean Energy Roadshow.

The Details: The event is hosted by Georgia’s Public Service Commissioner Tim Echols, It’s Georgia’s largest showcase for alternative fuel vehicles, and takes place in mid-July.

“Education is crucial to the adoption of alternative fuel vehicles, and events like this help fleet operators understand the benefits and practicalities of making the transition,” said Ryan Gaul, president of commercial vehicles at Workhorse.

In addition, last week, Workhorse introduced a new upfit program through its partnership with Surefitters. It offers 13 pre-configured packages for Workhorse Dealers, with additional options from ToughLite, CM Truck Beds, and Rugby to be added throughout 2024, ensuring fleet managers benefit from consistent upfitting standards and enhanced convenience.

Josh Anderson, chief technology officer of Workhorse said, “The partnership with Surefitters enables our vehicles to go to market quickly with high-quality, turn-key packages put together by their national network of expert upfitters.”
