Martha Stewart is happy with how most of the big tech stocks are performing — except Tesla Inc TSLA. The renowned “Domestic Diva” took a shot at CEO Elon Musk Thursday on CNBC’s “Squawk Box.”
“I loved Tesla. I’m pissed at Elon Musk … he better get back to work in certain areas,” Stewart said on the show.
Stewart, an entrepreneur in her own right, invested in mega-cap tech stocks such as Meta Platforms Inc META, Apple Inc AAPL and Alphabet Inc GOOG in particular.

She also suggested that she owns Tesla shares, but is disappointed in the stock performance, given that it’s down more than 10% since the start of the year.
Stewart expressed concerns about Musk’s focus given the multitude of companies he runs, and indicated that she believes Tesla should be “concentrating” on its EV business.
“I love electric cars. I have two,” Stewart said, adding that she recently purchased a Rivian Automotive Inc RIVN vehicle.
When she was asked if she bought a Rivian in protest against Musk’s management of Tesla, she immediately said “No,” explaining that it was just a better fit for what she was looking for.
“I love the colors, I love the shape, I love the whole thing. I tried the Cybertruck and it’s just too crazy for me still,” Stewart said.
Last month, Tesla said the Cybertruck was the best-selling electric pickup truck in the United States in the second quarter. Rivian recently reported second-quarter deliveries of 13,790 vehicles, which includes its R1T pickup and R1S SUV.
TSLA Price Action: Tesla shares were down 5.5% at $219.41 Thursday afternoon, according to Benzinga Pro.
