U.S. stocks were mostly higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining around 150 points on Monday.

Shares of Galapagos NV GLPG rose sharply during Monday's session after Ecor1 Capital reported a 9.9% stake in the company.

Galapagos shares jumped 10% to $28.47 on Monday.

  • Chart Industries, Inc. GTLS gained 5.6% to $130.54.
