Shares of Time Warner Cable Inc TWC surged after the company announced its plans of $4 billion stock repurchase. The company also reported 34% y/y rise in its Q3 profit. TWC shares are up about 5.5%. US Airline stocks moved up after American Airlines reported its passenger-traffic demand for October. The NYSE Arca Airline Index (XAL) gained about 1% Shares of American Airlines parent AMR Corp. AMR rose about 1.31% and shares of JetBlue Airways JBLU gained about 0.41%. Shares of Onyx Pharmaceuticals ONXX advanced about 7.90% after the company reported its Q3 earnings.
