Jacobs Receives Contract to Support Metrolink in UK (JEC)

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. JEC announced today that it was awarded a contract to provide detailed design and construction support services to MPact for the construction of extensions to the light rail Metrolink system in and around Manchester, United Kingdom. Officials did not disclose the contract value, however indicated that the total construction value is estimated at $590 million.
