KBR Awarded Engineering Contract for Tarrant Regional Water District's Pipeline System in North Texas (KBR)

KBR KBR today announced it has been awarded an engineering contract for Section 14-2 of the Tarrant Regional Water District's proposed 350 million gallon per day raw water transmission pipeline system serving Fort Worth and Dallas, Texas. Under this contract, KBR will undertake the preliminary design for 15.2 miles of a 108” pipeline in Navarro and Ellis counties. The project is being jointly funded by Tarrant Regional Water District and Dallas Water Utilities, and is expected to extend from Lake Palestine to Lake Benbrook with connections to Cedar Creek Reservoir, Richland Chambers Reservoir and a Dallas, Texas delivery point. The entire program includes more than 150 miles of large diameter pipelines.
