Praxair Mexico Starts Up Oxygen Supply to Johnson Controls

Praxair Mexico, a subsidiary of Praxair, Inc. PX, has started up a new vacuum pressure swing adsorption plant to supply oxygen to Johnson Controls JCI in Mexico. The new plant -- built, owned, and operated by Praxair -- has a capacity of 140 tons per day of oxygen and was installed with modern, energy-efficient technology. Johnson Controls uses oxygen in a new facility built to recycle lead acid batteries.
