ITT Consortium Wins $74 Million Contract for India Irrigation Project (ITT)

ITT Corporation ITT is heading a consortium that has been awarded a contract to provide two water pumping stations for Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Limited's Kutch Branch Canal Lift Irrigation Project. Combined, these two pumping stations will have the capacity to pump 196 million litres daily. The order is valued at $74 million and is slated to be completed by end of 2012. The KBC project, on completion, will bring water to 279,000 acres of land within 182 villages in the Kutch District.
