Nokia Corporation NOK partnered with Ishan Technologies Private Limited to transform broadband services in Gujarat and Maharashtra, India.
Nokia will deploy its advanced Altiplano SDAN solution, Broadband Network Gateway, Data Center Fabric, and IP/MPLS transport solutions, enabling Ishan Technologies to deliver high-speed, reliable broadband to retail and enterprise customers.
The upgraded network will automate operations like service activation and provisioning, ensuring faster service rollouts, lower operational costs, and improved customer experiences.
Ishan Technologies is upgrading its network to expand broadband services in Gujarat and Maharashtra, addressing rising cloud service demand and increasing bandwidth needs.
Nokia will train Ishan’s team to deploy and manage the new solutions independently. Nokia will supply Lightspan DF-16GM OLTs, dual-band ONTs, and the Altiplano Access Platform.
It will also enhance Ishan’s core and transport networks with 7250 IXR routers, 7750 BNG with CGNAT, Network Services Platform, and 7220 IXR Data Center Fabric upgrades in Mumbai and Chennai.
Keyur Jathal, Director & CMO at Ishan Technologies, said, “Leveraging Nokia’s state-of-the-art technology and expertise allows us to lead the SDAN adoption and set new benchmarks for broadband connectivity in India. Our enhanced infrastructure will benefit our 256,000 subscribers, introducing gigabit broadband services for the small and medium enterprises and corporate customers.”

Apart from this, Nokia is deploying the Zscaler, Inc. ZS Zero Trust Exchange platform to enhance security, streamline operations, and bolster cloud capabilities.
This approach minimizes the attack surface, strengthens cybersecurity and compliance, and ensures secure, fast connections from any device, anywhere, at any time.
