Gartner, Inc. IT today reported results for third quarter 2010 and increased its financial outlook for the full year.
For third quarter 2010, total revenue was $296.1 million, up 12% year-over-year excluding the impact of foreign exchange and 11% as reported. Normalized EBITDA increased 25% year-over-year to $51.1 million. Net income was $20.1 million, unchanged versus the prior year's third quarter, and diluted income per share was $0.20 as compared to $0.21 for the prior year's third quarter.
Based on its strong results year-to-date and outlook for the remainder of the year, Gartner increased both the low and high-end of its projected range for full year 2010 total revenue, cash provided by operating activities and Free Cash Flow, and increased the low-end of its projected range for diluted income per share, Diluted Income Per Share Excluding Acquisition Adjustments and Normalized EBITDA.
