Priceline.com PCLN shares jumped today, gaining more than 8% on the back of strong earnings. It also had William Shatner to thank for the tremendous acting he does in the company's TV ads. It really is just Oscar caliber stuff. Sort of like "Ernest Goes To Camp" should've won an Oscar. Sara Lee SLE announced the sale of its bakery unit to Grupo Bimbo for $959 million. I can't wait to see what Bimbo's management team looks like. You can't make these headlines up. Goldman Sachs GS is under scrutiny again, for another CDO lawsuit being filed against the bank. Instead of bonuses for the holidays, Goldman is handing out subpoenas to its employees. That's just what I wanted in my stocking.
