Netlist Reports Third Quarter EPS of $(0.20)

Netlist, Inc. NLST today reported financial results for the third quarter and nine months ended October 2, 2010. Revenues for the third quarter ended October 2, 2010, were $10.6 million, up 64 percent from revenues of $6.4 million for the third quarter ended October 3, 2009. Sequentially, revenues improved 14 percent from the $9.3 million in revenues for the second quarter ended July 3, 2010. Gross profit for the third quarter ended October 2, 2010, was $3.0 million, or 28.6 percent of revenues, compared to a gross profit of $1.6 million, or 24.3 percent of revenues, for the third quarter ended October 3, 2009. Sequentially, gross profit improved 66 percent and gross margin improved 9 percentage points from the second quarter ended July 3, 2010. Net loss for the third quarter ended October 2, 2010, was $4.9 million, or $0.20 loss per share, compared to a net loss in the prior year period of $2.1 million, or $0.11 loss per share.
