Hartford Financial Services HIG is set to report earnings tonight, and Wall Street will be looking to see whether the insurance company has anything to say about its operations being affected by the tornadoes in the Southeast, as well as Japan, if any.
Wall Street will be looking for earnings of 95 cents per share on revenues of $2.7 billion, up from last year, when the company earned 14 cents per share on revenues of $2.46 billion. Guidance for the next quarter is expected to come in at 95 cents per share on $2.45 billion in revenues.
At last check, shares were trading at $28.82, a loss of 14 cents or around 0.5% today. The company sports a 1.4% dividend yield, and trades at 7.1 times 2012 earnings.
