Accenture plc ACN is set to report earnings tonight after the bell, and Wall Street will be looking for whether Accenture can continue to grow its backlog of service deals, as well as consulting contracts.
Wall Street analysts are looking for earnings of 90 cents per share on $6.43 billion in revenues. This is up from last year, when Accenture reported earnings of 73 cents per share on $5.57 billion in revenues. Guidance for the next quarter is expected to come in at 81 cents per share on $6.17 billion in revenues.
Shares trade at just under 15 times forward earnings.
Accenture plc operates as a management consulting, technology services, and outsourcing company. Its management consulting services include customer relationship management, finance and performance management, process and innovation performance.
At last check, shares of Accenture were off 22 cents to $55.03, a loss of 0.4%.
