Resources Connection Bid Higher on Earnings Results

Shares of Resources Connection RECN are bid higher in the after-hours following the release of the company's Q4 earnings results. Currently, shares are bid $12.50, at $12.91; they ended the regular session lower by 3.03%, at $12.18. Resources Connection reported Q4 EPS of $0.12 on revenues of $145.7 million; the Street was looking for $0.10 per share on revenues of $147 million. Revenues increased 8.8% year over year. "In fiscal 2011, we grew our revenues by $46.5 million, bringing operating leverage to our business," said Tony Cherbak, chief operating officer. "The 320 basis point improvement in our adjusted EBITDA margin of 8.7% for 2011 is reflective of the excellent work our talented employees are doing for our clients."
