UPDATE: ING Reports 24% Rise In Q2 Net Profit

ING Groep NV ING reported a 24% rise in its second-quarter net profit. ING's quarterly net profit surged to 1.51 billion euros ($2.16 billion). However, analysts were expecting a net profit of 1.44 billion euros. ING shares fell 0.51% to $9.85 in after-hours trading.
