Proctor & Gamble Co PG reported a 15% rise in its FQ4 earnings.
PG reported its quarterly earnings at $2.51 billion, or $0.84 per share, up from $2.19 billion, or $0.71 per share, in the year-earlier period. Its revenue climbed 10% y/y to $20.86 billion from $18.93 billion. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.82 per share on revenue of $20.57 billion.
For the next fiscal year, Proctor & Gamble projects core earnings of $4.17 to $4.33 per share, versus analysts' estimates of $4.45 per share.
PG shares dropped 0.42% to $59.33 in pre-market trading.
