  • The Device Solutions Division posted KRW 28.5 trillion in revenue and KRW 9.98 trillion in operating profit.
  • Earnings in the Memory Business improved as it focused on meeting solid demand for servers.
  • Samsung Display Corporation posted KRW 7.71 trillion in revenue and KRW 1.06 trillion in operating profit, driven by solid demand from major customers.

  • The consolidated operating profit increased 12% Y/Y to KRW 14.1 trillion, driven by the semiconductor businesses. 
  • Outlook: In the second half, with macroeconomic uncertainties expected to persist, the DS Division will focus on managing a portfolio of high-value-added products and expanding advanced nodes and new applications. 
  • In the Memory Business, server demand will likely remain solid, while PC and mobile demand will probably see continued weakness.
  • The System LSI Business plans to expand the SoC business and strengthen its position in image sensors. For the Foundry Business, it looks to add new global clients and the development of the 2nd generation GAA process.
  • For SDC, earnings in the mobile panel business will likely increase, driven by new smartphone launches and expansion into automotive and gaming. 
  • The MX Business will likely see solid profitability with foldable products becoming mainstream. 
  • For the Networks Business, it looks to expand overseas businesses.
  •  In the Visual Display Business, it looks to capture demand in the premium segment. 
  • The Digital Appliances Business will focus on increasing sales of premium products.
