Shake Shack Registers 17.5% Revenue Growth In Q3

Shake Shack Inc SHAK reported third-quarter FY22 sales growth of 17.5% year-on-year to $227.81 million, beating the consensus of $226.62 million.
System-wide sales grew 18.3%, and Same-Shack sales climbed 6.3%.
Total expenses rose 18.4% Y/Y to $232.6 million. Loss from operations for the quarter was $(4.8) million versus a loss of $(2.6) million a year ago.
The company held $337 million in cash and equivalents as of September 28, 2022. Cash provided by operating activities for nine months totaled $54.3 million.
Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was $19.5 million, with an adjusted EBITDA margin of 8.6%.
Adjusted pro forma EPS loss was $(0.06) for the quarter, in line with the consensus estimate.
