J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. JBHT posted weaker-than-expected sales for the third quarter.
J.B. Hunt Transport reported quarterly earnings of $1.80 per share, a 29.96% decrease over earnings of $2.57 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $3.16 billion which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $3.20 billion, a 17.59% decrease over sales of $3.84 billion from the same period last year.
J.B. Hunt shares fell 8% to trade at $180.26 on Wednesday.
