Operating income for the quarter increased 36% to $656.9 million, with an operating margin of 16.5%.

Adjusted EPS of $1.68 beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.67.

Ecolab repurchased approximately 1.4 million shares of its common stock during the second quarter of 2024.

The company held $384 million in cash and equivalents as of June-end.

Outlook: Ecolab revised FY24 adjusted EPS outlook from $6.40 – $6.70 to $6.50 – $6.70 against the consensus of $6.57.
