Super Micro Computer Inc SMCI shares are trading higher Wednesday. The company made a series of announcements in connection with Nvidia Corp’s NVDA GTC 2025 event.

After the market close on Tuesday, Super Micro announced support for the new Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs on a range of GPU servers and workstations.
Super Micro said its broad range of servers will enable more enterprises to leverage accelerated computing for LLM-inference and fine-tuning, agentic AI, visualization, graphics and rendering and virtualization.
The company also announced new systems and rack solutions powered by Nvidia’s Blackwell Ultra platform. The new AI solutions aim to strengthen leadership in AI by delivering strong performance for AI workloads including AI reasoning, agentic AI, and video inference applications.
“This innovative solution reduces power consumption by up to 40% while conserving water resources, providing both environmental and operational cost benefits for enterprise data centers,” said Charles Liang, president and CEO of Super Micro Computer.

Wednesday morning, Super Micro announced a new optimized storage server for high-performance software-defined storage workloads found in AI and ML training and inferencing, analytics and enterprise storage workloads.
Super Micro said it worked closely with Nvidia and WEKA to enable customers to create power-efficient storage systems for AI factories.
“The Supermicro Petascale server with the NVIDIA Grace CPU Superchip highlights Supermicro’s focus on innovation and customer choice,” Liang said. “Supermicro continues to bring to market the most advanced and optimized storage solutions available.”
SMCI Price Action: Super Micro Computer shares were up 3.69% at $39.30 at the time of publication Wednesday, according to Benzinga Pro.
