- Fox News, a unit of Fox Corporation FOXA, and one of its former hosts disclosed the settlement of a defamation lawsuit with Venezuelan businessman Majed Khalil.
- Khalil had filed a defamation case against the network for falsely accusing him of playing a key role in rigging the 2020 U.S. presidential election against Donald Trump, Bloomberg reported.

- On Saturday, both parties filed a letter to the U.S. District Judge Louis Stanton in Manhattan, revealing a confidential settlement without disclosing the terms. On Sunday, Fox News said in a statement, “This matter has been resolved amicably by both sides. We have no further comment.”
- In another case against Fox News related to the 2020 U.S. presidential election, jury selection will begin this week.
- Dominion Voting Systems had earlier filed a $1.6 billion lawsuit against the media company for their false claims about Dominion machines’ role in stealing votes away from President Donald J. Trump in 2020. The trial will begin on April 17 in the Delaware Superior Court.
