Target Corporation TGT has entered into a strategic alliance with the renowned American sportswear brand, Champion.
The partnership will introduce the Champion collection for Target, a line that reimagines Champion’s classic styles.
The collection will feature premium, fashion-forward activewear and sports equipment for both adults and children. It will be available in Target stores and on Target.com beginning in August.
Target's partnership with Champion will present over 500 items, tapping into the company’s century-long sports heritage, combining it with contemporary colors, exclusive fabrics, distinctive washes and the signature Champion logo.
With most products priced under $40, the collection blends modern, classic and vintage elements to cater to a wide range of preferences.

“When you combine Champion’s legacy in sportswear with Target’s style authority, the result is something special,” said Rick Gomez, executive vice president and chief commercial officer.
Alongside the complete collection launching in August, a special, limited-edition line of varsity-inspired apparel for men and women will be available on Target.com and in select stores starting in September.
This collaboration highlights Target's ongoing strategy to team up with top brands like Apple, Disney, Levi's and Ulta, while also representing an important step for Champion in broadening its audience and increasing its accessibility to more consumers.
Customers can take advantage of Target's fulfillment services when buying from the Champion collection for Target.
The retail giant facilitates services such as Drive Up, Order Pickup and same-day delivery for Target Circle members. Additionally, Target offers free 2-day shipping on orders over $35.
Price Action: TGT shares are trading lower by 1.63% at $125.31 at the last check Wednesday.
