Gestion Laurent Lemaire, the investment company controlled by Laurent Lemaire, bought 500,000 shares of Cascades (CADNF) today, giving the company a 12.5% stake in Cascades. They paid out C$6.35 per share, or a little over three million Canadian dollars for the stake.
Cascades is a company that produces, converts and markets packaging and tissue products that are composed mainly of recycled fibers, making them a potential winner among green-themed investors and consumers. The company employs more than 11,000 employees, who work in more than 100 units located in North America and Europe.
Its management philosophy, its more than 45 years of experience in recycling and its continued efforts in research and development are strengths that enable Cascades to create new products for its customers.
