Sainsbury Reports 4.8% Rise In Q1 Comparable Sales

J. Sainsbury PLC JSAIY reported a 7.3% surge in total sales for the first quarter on Wednesday. Sainsbury's total sales rose 4.3% excluding fuel for the first quarter ended June 11.
