Metals Slightly Higher Across The Board

The metals market is higher today, with no real standouts in the group. Equities are sharply higher, with all three indexes higher. Copper is up 0.04 cents to trade at $4.0160, a gain of 0.1%. Ipath Dow Jones Ubs Copper Total ETF JJC is up 33 cents to $52.54, a gain of 0.63%. Silver is up 31 cents to $39.43, as it looks like $40 is the next mark for the precious metal. Shares of Ishares Silver Trust ETF SLV are up 32 cents this morning, to trade at $38.44, a gain of 0.84%. Gold is up 30 cents to $1,742.90 an ounce, a negligible gain. Shares of Spdr Gold Trust ETF GLD are down 37 cents to $169.60. Platinum is up $2.60 an ounce, trading at $1,799.30, a gain of 0.14%. The platinum ETF settings First Trust ISE Global Platinum Index PLTM is up 53 cents this morning to trade at $23.98, a gain of 2.3%. Palladium is up $7.20 an ounce today, trading at $755.40, as it looks like it will break $800 an ounce. Shares of ETFS Physical Palladium Shares PALL are sharply higher today, up 86 cents to $74.84.
