Metals Mostly Mixed, Copper Soaring

The metals market is mixed today, with the notable exception of copper, which is soaring, up almost 2% today. Equities are lower, with all three indexes down after having started higher on news that Warren Buffett invested in Bank of America

are down $3.05 to $168.60. Platinum is down $12.50 an ounce, trading at $1,813.80, a loss of nearly 0.7%. The platinum ETF settings First Trust ISE Global Platinum Index

is down 10 cents this morning to trade at $23.00. Palladium is up $8.45 an ounce today, trading at $751.60, as it looks like it will break $800 an ounce. Shares of ETFS Physical Palladium Shares
