Metals Mostly Higher, Copper Leading

The metals market is mostly higher today, with copper being the bright spot today. Equities are higher, but well off their highs. Copper is up 7.45 cents to trade at $4.2165, a gain of 1.8%. Ipath Dow Jones Ubs Copper Total ETF JJC is up 66 cents to $54.86, a gain of 1.22%. Silver is up 14 cents to $41.60, a gain of 0.33%. Shares of Ishares Silver Trust ETF SLV are up 4 cents this morning, to $40.44, a gain of 0.1%. Gold is up $2.80 an ounce to $1,832.20, a gain of 0.15%. Shares of Spdr Gold Trust ETF GLD are down $1.03 to $178.07. Platinum is down $1 an ounce, trading at $1,852.00 an ounce, a negligible loss. The platinum ETF settings First Trust ISE Global Platinum Index PLTM is up 39 cents this morning to trade at $24.61, a gain of 1.61%. Palladium is down $6.50 an ounce today, trading at $785.80, a gain of 0.8%. Shares of ETFS Physical Palladium Shares PALL are higher today, up 86 cents to $77.70.
