Metals Jumping, Palladium Leading The Space

The metals market is much higher today, with palladium leading the precious metals space. Equities are higher this morning as well, with the NASDAQ leading the way. Copper is up 1.8 cents to trade at $3.9840, a gain of just over 0.4%. Ipath Dow Jones Ubs Copper Total ETF JJC is down 13 cents to $51.80, a loss of 0.25%. Silver is up 49 cents to $40.71, a gain of just over 1%. Shares of Ishares Silver Trust ETF SLV are up 31 cents to $39.45, a gain of nearly 1% this morning. Gold is up $14.20 an ounce to $1,827.50, a gain of 0.78%. Shares of Spdr Gold Trust ETF GLD are up 1 cent to $176.68. Platinum is up $5.80 an ounce, trading at $1,815.20, a gain of nearly 0.3%. The platinum ETF settings First Trust ISE Global Platinum Index PLTM is up 41 cents this morning to trade at $22.85. Palladium is up $9.70 an ounce today, trading at $721.05, as it looks like it will break $700 an ounce. Shares of ETFS Physical Palladium Shares PALL are sharply higher today, up $1.36 to $71.32.
