Metals Down Across The Board, Copper and Palladium Plunging

The metals market is much lower today, with all of the metals dropping on growth worries across the world. Equities are plunging, with the major market averages down almost 3%. Copper is down 25.8 cents to $3.5060, a loss of 6.85%. The longer that copper hangs below $4 per pound, the worse off Chinese GDP will be. Ipath Dow Jones Ubs Copper Total ETF JJC is down $2.53 to $45.47, a loss of 5.27%. Silver is down sharply, down $3.73 to $36.74, a loss of 9.21%, as it looks like $30 is the next mark for the precious metal. Shares of Ishares Silver Trust ETF SLV are down $2.65 this morning, to trade at $35.91, a loss of 6.9%. Gold is down $78.10 an ounce to $1,730.00, a loss of 4.32%. Shares of Spdr Gold Trust ETF GLD are down $5.29 to $168.30, a loss of 3.05%. Platinum is down $80.40 an ounce, trading at $1,707.50, a loss of nearly 4%. The platinum ETF settings First Trust ISE Global Platinum Index PLTM is down $1.05 this morning to trade at $19.92, a loss of 5.01%. Palladium is down $54.40 an ounce today, trading at $658.40, as it looks like it will break $600 an ounce. Shares of ETFS Physical Palladium Shares PALL are sharply lower today, down $3.74 to $64.79, a los of 5.46%.
