Metals Down Across The Board, Silver Down Almost 10%

The metals market is much lower today, with silver plunging sharply. Equities are mixed 45 minutes into trading. Copper is down 10.1 cents to trade at $3.387, a loss of 2.9%. Ipath Dow Jones Ubs Copper Total ETF JJC is down $1.38 to $43.18, a loss of 3.1%. Silver is down sharply, down $3.30 to $33.28, as it looks like $30 is the next mark for the precious metal. Shares of Ishares Silver Trust ETF SLV are down $2.72 this morning, to trade at $32.79, a loss of 4.7%. Gold is down $50.60 an ounce to $1,691.10, a loss of 2.9%. Shares of Spdr Gold Trust ETF GLD are down $4.94 to $164.11, a loss of 2.92%. Platinum is down $67.90 an ounce, trading at $1,647.70, a loss of nearly 4%. The platinum ETF settings First Trust ISE Global Platinum Index PLTM is down 35 cents this morning to trade at $19.34, a loss of 1.8%. Palladium is down $11.60 an ounce today, trading at $652.40, as it looks like it will break $600 an ounce. Shares of ETFS Physical Palladium Shares PALL are sharply lower today.
