Metals Strongly Selling Again

The metals market is much lower today, with platinum and copper selling down sharply this morning. Equities are lower, with the NASDAQ down over 1%. Copper is down 8.2 cents to $3.1980, a loss of 2.5%. Ipath Dow Jones Ubs Copper Total ETF JJC is down $1.62 to $41.22, a loss of almost 4% this morning. Silver is down sharply, down $1.45 to $28.66, as it looks like $25 is the next mark for the precious metal. Shares of Ishares Silver Trust ETF SLV are down $2.19 this morning, to trade at $27.79, a loss of 7.1%. Gold is down $40.60 an ounce to $1,599.20, a loss of 2.5%, as it moves below $1,600 an ounce. Shares of Spdr Gold Trust ETF GLD are down $4.57 to $155.26, a loss of 2.8%. Platinum is down $64.90 an ounce, trading at $1,552.10, a loss of over 4% this morning. The platinum ETF settings First Trust ISE Global Platinum Index PLTM is down 66 cents this morning to trade at $18.84, a loss of 3.34%. Palladium is down $10.50 an ounce today, a loss of 1.6%to $632 an ounce. Shares of ETFS Physical Palladium Shares PALL are up 13 cents to $62.38, a gain of 0.2%.
