Metals Down Across The Board, Copper Plunging

The metals market is much lower today, with copper giving back almost all of yesterday's gains. Equities are lower, with all three indexes down. Copper is down 10.85 cents to $3.3315, a loss of over 3% today, the worst among the metals complex. Ipath Dow Jones Ubs Copper Total ETF JJC is down $1.22 to $42.90, a loss of 2.77%. Silver is down 44 cents to $31.10, a loss of 1.38%. Shares of Ishares Silver Trust ETF SLV are down $1.07 to $30.10, a loss of 3.43%. Gold is down $13.40 an ounce to $1,638.10, a loss of 0.8%. Shares of Spdr Gold Trust ETF GLD are down $1.38 to $159.25. Platinum is down $32 an ounce, trading at $1,545.40, a loss of nearly 2%. The platinum ETF settings First Trust ISE Global Platinum Index PLTM is down 9 cents this morning to trade at $20.13. Palladium is down $13.25 an ounce today, trading at $636.70. Shares of ETFS Physical Palladium Shares PALL are sharply lower today, down 99 cents to $63.02.
