Iberdrola Reports 3.5% Rise In Net Profit

Iberdrola SA IBDRY reported a 3.5% rise in its net profit for the first nine months of the year. Iberdrola's net profit for the period rose to EUR2.14 billion, from EUR2.07 billion, in the year-earlier period. Its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization gained to EUR5.6 billion. Iberdrola's revenue surged 1.7% to EUR23.4 billion. Iberdrola shares closed at $28.74 yesterday.
