Metals Lower, Silver, Copper Down Sharply

The metals market is much lower today, with copper and silver down sharply. Equities are also lower, with all three indexes down over 1.5%. Copper is down 12.7 cents to trade at $3.505, a loss of just over 3.5%. Ipath Dow Jones Ubs Copper Total ETF JJC is down $1.59 to $45.31, a loss of 3.39%. Silver is down sharply, down $1.21 to $33.14, as it looks like $30 is the next mark for the precious metal. Shares of Ishares Silver Trust ETF SLV are down $1.09 this morning, to trade at $32.35, a loss of 3.26%. Gold is down $23.70 an ounce to $1,701.50, a loss of almost 1%. Shares of Spdr Gold Trust ETF GLD are down $1.46 to $165.88. Platinum is down $23.00 an ounce, trading at $1,584.60, a loss of nearly 1.5%. The platinum ETF ETFS Physical Platinum Shares PPLT is down $1.95 this morning to trade at $156.48, a loss of 1.23%. Palladium is down $11.70 an ounce today, trading at $639.50, as it looks like it will break $700 an ounce. Shares of ETFS Physical Palladium Shares PALL are sharply lower today, down 71 cents to $63.43.
