Metals Plunging, Palladium Cratering

Palladium is leading the metals sector lower this morning, in this Thursday edition of the Metals Morning Update. Gold is down $33 an ounce, to trade at $1,741.00 an ounce, a loss of 1.86%. Shares of SPDR Gold Trust ETF GLD are down $2.07 to trade at $169.44. Copper is lower this morning, down 5.75 cents to trade at $3.4265 per pound, a loss of 1.65%. Shares of Ipath Dow Jones Ubs Copper Total ETF JJC are losing ground this morning, down 72 cents to trade at $44.21. Silver is plunging today, down $1.06 to trade at $32.76 an ounce. Despite the loss in the actual metal, shares of the iShares Silver Trust ETF SLV are negative on the day, losing 83 cents to trade at $31.99. Palladium is crashing, down $27.10 an ounce at $627.60 per ounce, a loss of 4.1%. The ETFS Physical Palladium Shares ETF PALL is lower by $1.70 today, to trade at $62.29. Platinum is losing ground, losing 1.71% or $27.90 to trade at $1,603.30 per ounce. ETFS Physical Platinum Shares PPLT is losing $1.30 this morning, to trade at $158.83.
