Avon Rubber Reports Rise In Pretax Profit, Lifts Dividend

Avon Rubber PLC AVNBF reported a rise in its full-year pretax profit and lifted its final dividend. Avon's revenue for the period fell 8% to GBP107.6 million. Its pretax profit rose to GBP10.2 million, from GBP7.1 million in 2010. However, analysts were expecting a pretax profit of GBP10.3 million. Avon declared a final dividend of 2 pence per share, versus 1.5 pence last year.
