Orbit International's Power Group Receives Two New Orders with a Combined Value in Excess of $626,000

Orbit International Corp. ORBT today announced that its Power Group, through its Behlman Electronics, Inc. subsidiary has received two new orders totaling in excess of $626,000. The first award, valued at $394,000, is a follow-on order for a COTS power supply used on the RC-135, a U.S. Air Force (USAF) all-weather airborne reconnaissance aircraft. Behlman expects to receive additional orders for these units as the USAF continues to upgrade its RC-135 fleet. Delivery is scheduled to commence in the third quarter of 2012 and be completed by the fourth quarter of 2012. The second order, valued at $232,000, is for a hot swappable DC power supply used in a nuclear power plant control system. Delivery of this order is scheduled for the second quarter of 2012. Behlman received the initial prototype order for these units in September 2007, has been receiving production orders since January 2008 and is projecting future orders over the next several years as nuclear power plants undergo upgrades.
