Nikon Swings To Q3 Net Loss

Nikon Corp NINOY swung to a net loss in the October-December quarter. Nikon posted a Q3 net loss of Y3.7 billion, versus a year-ago net profit of Y9.7 billion. Its operating profit dipped to Y8.2 billion from Y18.6 billion. Its revenue fell 15% to Y215.4 billion from Y253.8 billion. Nikon projects a net profit of Y55 billion on revenue of Y925 billion this fiscal year.
