China Resources Power Holdings Co CRPJY reported a 9.2% drop in its 2011 net profit.
China Resources Power's net profit declined to HK$4.45 billion (US$570 million), from HK$4.90 billion, in the year-ago period. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of HK$4.95 billion.
Its revenue surged 25% to HK$60.71 billion from HK$48.58 billion. Its electricity output climbed 15.4% to 103.6 million megawatt hours.
China Resources Power also recommended a 2011 final dividend of HK$0.24, versus HK$0.27 in the year-ago period.
