Allergy Therapeutics Posts Surge In H1 Profit

Allergy Therapeutics PLC AGYTF reported a surge in its first half profit. Allergy Therapeutics' pretax profit for the period rose to GBP8.2 million, from GBP6 million in 2010. However, profit after interest and tax climbed to GBP8.6 million from GBP5.9 million. Its revenue gained 4% to GBP28.5 million from GBP27.4 million. Allergy Therapeutics' operating profit climbed to GBP8.0 million versus GBP7.3 million.
