Marsh & McLennan Cos MMC reported that it has bought Cosmos Services (America) Inc, the US insurance brokerage subsidiary of global trading firm ITOCHU Corporation ITOCY.
However, the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Marsh & McLennan in February reported a 26% rise its fourth-quarter profit.
MMC shares gained 0.18% to close at $32.85 yesterday, while ITOCY shares gained 1.74% to close at $22.23 yesterday.
