Galp Energia Q1 Refining Up 49%

Portuguese company Galp Energia SGPS SA

reported a 49% y/y rise in crude processed for refining in the first quarter. Refining processing in the quarter climbed to 20.3 million barrels, versus 13.6 million barrels, in the year-ago period. However, oil output jumped 72% y/y to 16,500 barrels a day.
