Yara International ASA YARIY reported an increase in its net profit.
Yara's quarterly net profit rose to NOK3.02 billion, from NOK2.89 billion, in the year-ago period. However, analysts were expecting a profit of NOK2.52 billion.
Its revenue rose to NOK21.3 billion from NOK19.8 billion, versus analysts' estimates of NOK20.85 billion. Yara's EBITDA came in at NOK4.31 billion, beating analysts' estimates of NOK3.92 billion.
Its global average oil and gas cost climbed 5% y/y.
Yara shares closed at $46.46 yesterday.
