Hellenic Telecommunications Organization SA HLTOY reported a surge in its first-quarter net profit.
Its quarterly net profit jumped to EUR306.6 million, from EUR30.2 million, in the year-ago period. Its adjusted net income climbed to EUR95.3 million, from EUR62.8 million.
Its revenue came in at EUR1.18 billion, versus EUR1.22 billion in the year-ago period. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) gained to EUR417.5 million from EUR393.3 million.
Hellenic Telecoms shares closed at $1.37 yesterday.
