Comedy Queen Jiaoying Summers Invades NYC Clubs

Los Angeles, CA – April 20, 2022 – A major voice on the national comedy scene, Jiaoying Summers brings her headlining act to world famous Caroline’s New York on April 27. The TikTok comedian, famous for her “uber karen” character brings daily joy and viral moments  to her more than 1 million followers. She is in demand while in New York and will also perform at Westside Comedy Club and Brooklyn Comedy Club. New York get ready.

Jiaoying is (in)famous for her hilarious retelling of her true story as a survivor of China’s one child policy and almost being discarded by her father. Growing up in China was not easy and determined to leave she applied to colleges in the US. The University of Kentucky said yes. She jokes, “nobody lies about going to Kentucky.” The child who didn’t fit in is now a force on the entertainment and entrepreneurial scene.

Jiaoying headlines at the iconic Laugh Factory and The Improv in Los Angeles and owns two small comedy clubs where she provides daily “open mic” opportunities to give other comics a place to test their material, hone their on-stage performance and gain experience. She hosts special nights for a very diverse group of comics from all over the world. She also hosts Comedy for Ukraine nights where proceeds go to support Ukraine refugees through Operation USA, started many years ago by actress Julie Andrews. Her 30 min. comedy special “Comedy InvASIAN 2.0” will premiere on Peacock and Tubi May 1 in time for AAPI Heritage Month. Jiaoying is proud single mom of two, a boy and a girl. She donates her time to many charities and will be honored by the Asian Hall of Fame in November for giving voice to the voiceless on many different platforms.
