Carrefour Q2 Sales Down 0.3%

Carrefour SA CRERF posted a decline in its Q2 revenue. Carrefour's quarterly sales dropped 0.3% y/y to 21.7 billion euros ($26.5 billion), on a pro-forma basis. However, analysts were expecting sales of EUR21.58 billion. Over the first six months of the year, Carrefour's revenue gained 0.9% on a pro-forma basis to EUR43.7 billion. Carrefour shares closed at $16.05 yesterday.
