Qantas Swings To Loss

Qantas Airways Ltd QUBSF reported a loss for the year to June 30. Qantas posted an annual net loss of 245 million Australian dollars (US$257.4 million), versus a year-ago profit of A$250 million. Its underlying pre-tax profit came in at A$95 million. However, analysts were expecting underlying pre-tax profit of A$65.9 million.
