Hermes Net Profit Rises 15%

Hermes International SCA HESAY posted a 15% surge in its net profit in the first six months of the year. Hermes' net profit for the period rose to EUR335.1 million, while operating profit climbed 22% to EUR510.9 million. Its first half sales surged to EUR1.591 billion, versus EUR1.305 billion. Hermes shares dropped 1.45% to close at $27.81 yesterday.
